About Us / Video
Philosphy Videographer Joe Caneen is categoric about his video philosophy: "I don't offer 'silver, gold and platinum packages'. Mine are rock bottom, low-budget video production sample costs... and I'll work hard to make your video work no matter what it takes. All too often video production companies / video producers have in mind their own agenda rather than their client's. They don't address the 'What is needed and wanted' issue. I have worked as a video cameraman and director for several decades, and my aim is always a video that has great visual and emotional quality, that has the subject(s) as its focus, not gimmicks. My style is resolutely 'back to basics', I always aim to produce a great emotional impact video. When a singer or music band is involved... it should be all about them, all about their song. It's not about the number of special effects per minute. That quickly gets boring. It doesn't place the emphasis where it should be. When you're talking wedding video - it's about you and your sweetheart, who you are, how tying the knot is special to both of you. You choose the song, together we select still images (yours or mine), and I edit footage I take of you that will communicate to your friends and family forever your unique wedding event. And finally when it comes to filming and editing a corporate documentary video or a tribute video, again it's all about what you want to communicate to your audience. I work with my clients as a team to achieve a professional video production that really 'talks visually' - it's not just a job for me, it's a passion. While I am now based just outside Missoula, Montana, I am happy to make videos for clients anywhere in the Northwest (Washington, Idaho, California, Utah, South Dakota, North Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming), anywhere else in the US including Alaska and Hawai, or for that matter anywhere else in the world. Last year for example I shot footage at the 'End of the Road Festival' in England!"
